Happy New Year!

It's a new year, and I couldn't be happier about it! Our holiday season at the store went well, and we are pleased with what appears to be an upturn in sales. Now we will be focusing on some great things for Valentine's Day, and just general pick-me-up stuff for the Winter doldrums.

Speaking of Winter doldrums, it looks like I will be going back down to three days a week again:
Thursday & Friday 11-7
Saturday 12 - 5
This is only for the Winter months, and I will also be available by chance and/or appointment. My cell phone number is 773-213-9494, please call me if you need to come by and I'm not open. We'll work something out.

New Year's Greetings!

It is officially 2010, and I'm still wondering what I'm doing owning a business. It sure is fun (for the most part), though. I have to thank you all for your support over the last year and a half--of course I couldn't have done it without you!

What are your resolutions this year? We have plenty of things here at Fly Right to help you if you resolved any of the following:

• To be more organized
• To eat healthier/cook at home more/bring your lunch to work
• To create less waste
• To use more recycled/upcycled products
• To keep in touch with old friends
• To keep the house a little cleaner
• To support local businesses and businesses that are environmentally conscious

All of these are worthy goals to achieve, even if you're not into making formal resolutions. As they say, every little bit helps.

I hope that 2010 will be a healthier, happier, more prosperous year for all of us!
